The recent Dunedin Meet in Dunfermline produced a wealth of lifetime best swims but this week it was revealed that two of the medal winners not only picked up new times but also set new club records. Ten-year-old Charlotte Williamson, a pupil at St Leonards, set a new club record in the 100m Backstroke setting a time of 1.23.96 breaking a record set way back in 1998. Breaststroke specialist, Lewis Baillie, picked up the silver medal in the 200m race and took six-seconds off his time previous best. A check of the records revealed Lewis too had broken a club record set 23yrs ago in 1991. Congratulations to both swimmers on setting new club records.’
