A BIG THANKS to everyone who made yesterday’s club champs such a great success – whether you contributed to the delicious cakes, were poolside with a stop watch, ensuring all swimmers were ready to compete or there as a spectator cheering the swimmers on – thanks to you all! However, let’s admit it – the real work was being done by all our fantastic swimmers so a BIG WELL DONE to them for their behaviour, their attitude and of course their swimming.
Finally – this is an opportunity to thank all of our coaches for their commitment to the club and for supporting our children. This was evident yesterday in Mark Laing’s commentating that demonstrated an interest and knowledge of our children irrespective of their age or squad.
Back to business:
– Swimming continues through the spring holidays but there won’t be any land training during the two week school break: Monday 31 March – Friday 11 April.
– Reminder for anyone who hasn’t yet paid the £17 club fees – these are due to be paid into the club’s bank account or at the club table by the end of April. Just to clarify at the last AGM it was decided to split the annual membership fees that all swimmers need to pay: SASA fees – £33 were due in by the end of February 2014 and our own Cupar club fees of £17 are due by the end of April. These membership fees are required to cover insurance etc to enable your child to swim and are separate from the monthly squad fees. Any questions – just get in touch.
